Gladys Eisele

Gladys Eisele, 99, of Middletown, Ohio, died on March 21, 2003, at Garden Manor. She was born in Eaton, Ohio on July 21, 1903 to parents Frank and Margaret (Campbell) Chrismer.

Gladys was a longtime resident of Ardmore Drive. She worked as a cook at Roosevelt Jr. High School for 10 years. She was a member of Amanda United Methodist Church, and the Quilting Ladies of Christ United Methodist Church.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Raymond Eisele on January 7, 1998;her parents; brothers, Vernon Chrismer and Russell Chrismer; sisters, Edna Chrismer and Hazel Kirk and one grandchild, Ron Thacker.

She is survived by two sons: Norman “Gene” (Donna Jean) Eisele and Bob Eisele, both of Middletown; two sisters: Katherine Chambers of Middletown, and Idabell Shaw of Hamilton, OH; and four grandchildren, Craig Eisele, Donnie Eisele, Kim Prichard, and Mike Tinch.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Rev. Wesley K. Poole officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
