Florence A Ritter

Florence A. Ritter, 80, of Middletown, died on Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Christ Hospital. She was born in St. Patricks, Ohio on November 12, 1922 to Louis and Anna (Hoying) Raterman.

Mrs. Ritter was a member of Holy Family Parish, the St. Mary´s Ladies Society, P.R.O.M.I.S.E.S., and she served as an Eucharistic Minister for Holy Family Parish. She also volunteered at Abilities First.

Florence is survived by, three daughters, Susan A. Ritter of Middletown, OH, Sandra J. Ritter of Cincinnati, OH, and Jennifer L. (Kenneth) Vieth of Batavia, OH; three sons, Theodore J. (Tina) Ritter of Wayne Township, OH, Thomas C. Ritter of Middletown, OH, and Joseph P. Ritter of Middletown, OH; sisters, Lillian Wagner of Minster, OH, Mary Magdelene Dobrozsi of Middletown, OH, and Patricia Neff of Dayton, OH; brothers, Joseph (Norma) Raterman of Minster, OH, and Homer Raterman of Sydney, OH; grandchildren, Deborah Curry, Desiree Woodruff, Danielle Ritter, Nicholaus Ritter, Katie Vieth, Michael Vieth, Matthew Vieth, and Emily Vieth; and great grandchildren, Christopher, Katie Beth, & Kevin Curry, Carolyn, Courtney, & Corey Woodruff, and Logan Ritter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Ritter on October 28, 2000; her parents; brothers, Henry Raterman, Raymond Raterman, Louis Raterman, and Thomas Raterman; and sisters, Mary Schuler, Lottie Raterman, Verona Segeser, and Julia Gates.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 30, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
