Eva Mae Steward

Eva Mae Steward, 98, of Monroe, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Cincinnati on March 17, 1910 to parents Clifford E. and Ora Dell (Whisner) Radabaugh.

Mrs. Steward was a cafeteria worker for Monroe Public Schools. She had also done bookkeeping for her husband and worked as a secretary. She was a member of Monroe Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women, Loyal Daughters, Questers, the Monroe Historical Society, and Monrovers. She enjoyed gardening and painting.

Mrs. Steward is survived by her children, Marla Parks Keaton, C. Ronald Steward, and Phyllis A. Steward; 9 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Steward in 1994; her parents; and brother, Harold E. Radabaugh.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 25, 2008 at 11:00 am at Monroe Presbyterian Church, 57 W. Elm Street, Monroe with Reverend Pat Warren officiating. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Monroe Presbyterian Church, 57 W. Elm St., Monroe, OH 45050 or the Mt. Pleasant Life Care Fund, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe, OH 45050.
