Edwin Crout

Edwin W. Crout, 88, of Middletown, died Friday, April 28, 2017, at his home. He was born in Middletown on January 6, 1929 to parents Walter and Olive Elizabeth (DeGroat) Crout.

Edwin worked as a computer programmer at Mound in Miamisburg for 30 years. He served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Crout is survived by his wife, Anne (McGill) Crout; sister, Mary Ann Downs and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Helen Tilton, Mabel Barker & Pearl Mae Selby.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Hickory Flat Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Franklin VFW #7596 Honor Guard.
