Dora Louise Lamphier

Dora Louise Lamphier, 80, of Middletown, died on Friday, March 21, 2003 at Garden Manor. She was born in Hamilton on August 1, 1922 to Paul & Gladys (Etter) Clendenin.

Mrs. Lamphier worked for Heber-Jones as a bookkeeper for 15 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church. She was married to her husband Dave on August 26, 1944 and will now be reunited with him.

Dora is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth M. Edgington of Middletown; one son, Michael D. (Lynette D.) Lamphier of Thonotosassa, FL.; one sister, Margaret J. Glasby of Burneyville, OK; one brother, Gene (Juanita) Clendenin of Springfield, OH; sister-in-law, Janet Clendenin of Springfield, OH; brother-in-law, Marion Cassel of Port Clinton, OH; and grandchildren, Elizabeth L. Smith, William J. Lamphier, Anthony M. Lamphier, Thomas D. Lamphier, Zachary D. Nelson, and Sarah L. Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dave Lamphier on December 17, 1999, her parents, brother, Robert Clendenin, and sister, Juanita Cassel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 24, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday, March 23, 2003 from 2-4 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd, Middletown, OH 45044. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
