David Maloney

David Maloney, 62, of Middletown, died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 10, 1945 to parents Vernon and Estelle (Southern) Maloney.

David worked as a rigger for AK Steel for 31 years, retiring in 1994.

Mr. Maloney is survived by two sons, Steve (Kerry) Maloney of Springboro and Greg Barnett of Middletown; a sister, Janet Cox of Monroe; a brother, Vernon 'Nane' Maloney of Hamilton; and two grandchildren, Luke Maloney and Shelby Maloney.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael Maloney.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 8:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
