Betty Jean Spicer

Betty Jean (Berry) Spicer, 71, of Trenton, went home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2007. She was born in Middletown, on June 4, 1935 to parents Frank and Martha (Barker) Berry.

Mrs. Spicer was a devoted homemaker and an avid gardener.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 53 years, Arnold Spicer; three daughters, Sharon Carroll, Gina (Jim) Cresong, both of Middletown, and Lori (Terry) Clackner of Trenton; one son, John (Tammy) Spicer of Trenton; three sisters, Mary Lou (Ralph) King of Carlisle, Bessie Johnson of Middletown, and Delores Shepherd of Punta Gorta, FL; one brother, Ray (Janet) Berry of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Joshua (Amy Hatfield) Dalton, Amanda (Patrick Anderson) Dalton, Brad Cresong, Candace Clackner, Tara (Eric) Hoeweler, Taylor Clackner, Ashley Spicer, and Nicholas Spicer; five great grandchildren, Madison Estep, Olivia Hoeweler, Sabrinna Anderson, Jayne Revis, and Jackson Anderson; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Irene Manning.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the CCU nurses and hospice staff at Middletown Regional Hospital.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
