Arthur Robert Eisele

Arthur Robert "Bob" Eisele, 84, of Turtlecreek Township, died Friday, July 8, 2016, at his home. He was born in Middletown on June 29, 1932 to parents Arthur and Gladys (Chrismer) Eisele.

Bob graduated from Middletown High School in 1950 and then served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He then worked in the research department of Armco/AK Steel Corporation for 18 years, retiring in 1992. He was a wonderful woodworker and had worked with Gary Recker. Bob loved God, his family and his friends. He was baptized on April 3, 1942 at Amanda United Methodist Church.

Mr. Eisele is survived by his stepson, Mike (Christine) Tinch; stepson-in-law, Larry Prichard; brother, Gene (Donna) Eisele; six grandchildren, Trey, Christy & Tracy Thacker, Jarod Lamb, Jenny & Gabe Tinch; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva M. (Wilson) Eisele in 2001; parents; stepson, Ron Thacker; and stepdaughter, Kimberly Prichard.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Butler County Memorial Park, Wayne Township. Military honors will be conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
