Anna Loretta Butler

Anna Loretta Butler, 69, of Monroe, died Thursday, August 11, 2005. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on January 28, 1936 to parents Rev. Noah and Jessie (Keith) Turner.

Mrs. Butler worked as a mail carrier for the Mason Post Office for 28 years and was a member of the Church of God in Jesus.

Anna is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Terry) Burlile of Monroe, and Angie (Jeff) Combs of Middletown; a son, Jeff (Sandy) Butler of Lebanon; five sisters, Norma Rae Brewer, Menta Jo Griffin, Angie Sue Fening, Mary Helen Alverson, and Pam McIntosh; two brothers, John Turner and James Turner; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Butler in 1996; her parents; and four sisters, Edith Oaks, Janet Faith Brewer, Ella Louise Miller, and Elsa Turner.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Church of God in Jesus, 5604 West Alexandria Rd., Middletown, with Pastor Arnold Brewer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-6 pm at the church. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
