Peggy L. Cope

Peggy L. Cope, 78, of Turtlecreek Township, died Friday, September 1, 2017, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Middletown on January 3, 1939 to parents Roy C. and Margie (Roberts) Ross.

Peggy had worked as a cafeteria cashier for Middletown City Schools. She was a member of Cincinnati Primitive Baptist Church.

Peggy loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by her husband, Charles A. Cope; children, Chuck (Amy) Cope, Kristi (Richard) Henry, Mark (Karen) Cope & Michael "Mike" Cope; sisters, Barbara Langworthy & Nancy (Charles) Caudill; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Kay) Cope & Bing (Mary) Cope; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many other loving family, friends, church family & co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Jerry D. Jeffries.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown with Elder Lasserre Bradley Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
